Meet Artistic Gamut

Four Artistic sisters whose crafting runs the Gamut including working with wood, fabric, paint, leather, glue, paper, yarn, beads, salvaged and found items and more. At the top of the stairs, the elder, Joanne, has retired for the second time from the same job and watches over the rest of the crew from the sidelines.

Mary Ellen is currently the owner of Artistic Gamut. She's a retired IBM Distinguished Engineer so she's in charge of technical equipment like computers, printers, and the Silhouette cutting machines - which is why she's not smiling. Her very favorite pastimes are upcycling vintage furniture and found items, making jewelry, papercrafting, interior design, and engineering solutions for just about anything.

Next on the stairs is Christine, our lead Artist. She has a degree in Fine Arts and a master's in Public Policy. Christine makes sure we are paying attention to details like color and texture coordination, theme consistency, . Her favorites are working with fabrics, refurbishing found items, painting, mosaic and more.

Last on the stairs is Cathy. She works for a successful plumbing business as the bid coordinator. She knows where the bodies are buried. Cathy has the most varied experience in arts and crafts. Her contributions are in leaded stained glass, jewelry, wood designs made on her lathe, wool felting, and upcycled furniture and found items. She's our inspiration to try new things such as basket-weaving, decoupage, glass paintings, and many others.
